In the world of skimmers, you get what you pay for. You are better off building one yourself if you aren't willing to spend money. I personally would use a Euro-reef or something of that grade. AquaC is also a great company that i recommend. I don't like Coralife Skimmers, but others do. I've always had great Happenings with AquaC and it gets the job done well. (Urchin is in sump and Remora is Hang on back)

Is this true. Are they cheaper than Coraline Super Skimmer coz Pasfur was recommending me Cheap and Best option.

Can Anybody answer this one.

How long should should i run Phosphate Remover, the pack says replacement after 30 days. The water is becoming a bit cloudy. I think it is due to Phosphate remover. The brown algae is not growing on the rocks nowadays and has slowed down but the sand is pretty brown on some areas.

What would be the next step ?

All Test Results will be done on this Sunday and will be published on this Monday. Live Rocks will be moved in middle so that it doesnt touches glass.
What say everybody?

These are the comments that the group here finds offensive. This is pointed and rude. Those of us here answering questions are not at your beck and call.

I have plenty of information to provide on your setup, concerning the phosphate remover, incorrect use of your existing protein skimmer, and the progress of your ich problem. However, as long as you continue to take gentle jabs at other members who are respected on this community, I have no motivation to spend my time providing you the assistance you need.

I could talk for days on your tank, but what's the point? It's not like you'll take anything in..

Please dont get me wrong. I am here to stay in this Profession with the help of you guys. Have you found any mistakes in my tank in recent days. i am religoiusly following what you guys are telling me. Though i must admit that sometimes i get hyper. Sorry everyone.

Here are the test results i did yesterday as promised :

Nitrite - No kit
Nitrate 2 ppm (As earlier predicted by Pasfur that it will go down and now it is gone down)

Alkalinity : 12 dkh (earlier 9 dkh)
Calcium : 440 ppm
salinity - 1.023
temp - 28deg. celcius.

How long were the lights on when you took these tests? Where is the tank located (what room)?

Your dKH and Calcium to me don't jive with the pH test. Something is wrong here. Also, your temp is a little high (please post in Fahrenheit).
