i dont know if i personally would be able to sleep at night if my tank was on a stand like that. you may want to fix this before moving forward. the board below the tank appears to be warped or bending under the tanks weight. just might want to consider something alittle more solid because i would hate to see you loose a tank over a faulty stand.

Hey guys i have a news i am getting a length 37 x breadth 18 x hieght x 25 (old freshwater tank not in use for long time) i think this makes it 70 gallon if u multiply the total with 0.00433. My friend is ready to give me at any price i feel like to give him. It comes with a wooden stand also. Tonight i will go and see the tank and I will post the picture tomorrow.

Please reply my queries mentioned below :
I want to buy it but if only i can keep yellow tang and other tangs in it.
is it possible to keep a yellow tang in 75 gallon.
Will my whole cost increase like saltmix, lights, powerheads, protein skimmer size, sands, water.
Can i shift everything from my old tank to a new one like sand rocks etc with same water.
Will the tank take more time to mature.
Will the overall cost increase a lot.

Awating for your replies very eagerly.

But how i am going to tell it to my wife, she might kill me.lol.

You can be ok, ok being used loosely here, to keep a tank in a 70 gallon... but your tank is really short and because of this i don't think it would do well in a tank that size. I have a tang in mine but it's a 48in and i do plan on upgrading when I move out of my apt (I'm looking at either a 300g or so). There's no way he's going to be in this little thing permanently. My tank is a 55g but it's also longer then yours is. You can keep it in the tank, but short term if you want it to live its full life healthy and happy.

Get your feet wet with fish first. Don't start with corals until you can keep the fish alive for a while. Especially a Brain Coral. That is not a beginner coral.

Zai, right now you should be testing your water and letting the Ich run its life course in your tank. Stop asking if you can add livestock. Why do you think that we will all of the sudden change the 90 day suggestion?

That or it's really hard to get algae off the glass if you can't get to it. I remember having a huge build up because i couldn't touch a lot of the glass, that's why all my rock is not touching any off my walls... (But if you look at my tank i have coraline on them now).

Yesterday night some (3 to 4) 1/2 inch long white thread like worms were moving on the rocks and glass. what are those Copepods OR Amphipods. i enjoyed watching them. ha ha.

Moreover, 15% Water will be replaced alongwith all the test this sunday. Should i do the test before water replacement or after.

Protein Skimmer Cup is filling up 3 to 4 times within 24 hrs. with white foam. I am trying to get Coarline Super Skimmer 65 gallon but not available here.
