Won't hurt the urchin. Not sure about how the polyp will like it though. I was just reading that this is pretty common that urchins can pluck up loose corals and move them around.

My sea urchin will take anything it sees and ride around with it. Once it was a hermit crab...

i sure didn't know there were any loose polyps in the tank. there is a colony on a rock i've had for a few months. how strange but pretty fascinating!

i need to pick up some superglue gel. i'll pluck them off and glue them to another rock. :)
