Talking wcn84's 75 Gallon FOWLR Build

Okay well things are finally moving with my 75 gallon FOWLR build (with a 29 DIY sump). Here are a couple pictures of all the building materials. I have started to silicone the baffles in the sump and it should be ready to go by this weekend. I will be picking the pvc up for the plumbing this week so I can give everything a freshwater dry run this weekend. I picked up the display tank this weekend and put the lighting fixture on top to see what it would look like (picture below).

I will continue to post pictures as I get everything up and running!

Subject: Larry LaPrise dead at 93

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week.

Larry LaPrise, the man that wrote "The Hokey Pokey" died peacefully at the age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.

The rock is from Marco rocks. It is the Key Largo that a lot of members here have gone with. I'm very pleased with size and shapes of what they gave me. I'm going to seed this with some live rock from my LFS. I'm still a long way from fish and won't add any until everything is stable. My freshwater display is 29 gallon so having a tank this large is pretty exciting for me.

Post Rockwork

Check out my rock work. Does anyone have any suggestions? I will be adding about 20-25 lbs of liverock to this to seed the tank.

Here is a picture with the Live Rock I picked up over the weekend. All the parameters of the tank are within the recommended levels. Now the waiting game for the tank to mature and diatom bloom to hit.
