The tank is fed flake food at 7am, frozen meaty foods at 1pm, Marine Snow and Reef Nutrition products at 11pm every day. 20ml of B-ionic nightly, additional 15ml of Liquid calcium nightly, 15ml Magnesium and 10ml Strontium weekly.

Your picture taking skills are great. It helps that you have such beautiful subjects.

You have a wide selection of Kent Marine products there Steve. How do you utilize these in your dosing routine?

Thanks Kymmie, Cody, and Mike

Hey Mark, Thanks for the compliment. Generally, I dont support the use of some of these products for regular dosing. I keep them on hand in the event I am unable to perform a water change when due, or to correct a problem. My regular dosing includes 20 mL B-Ionic 2 part Daily, 15 mL Kent Tech M weekly, 10 mL Kent Chelated Iron weekly, Superbuffer DkH and Liquid Calcium for individual adjusting of Calcium and Alk levels, Lugols Iodine as a disinfectant dip. I use the Essential Elements and Strontium/Molybdenum when I have to put off a water change, and the Zoomax is a Zooplankton food that I feed every few days.

For the record, in an earlier post I mentioned that I dose Liquid Calcium at 15 mL daily. I have since discontinued this as I inadvertantly overcompensated and brought the calcium levels to 540, which in turn started to flush out the Alkalinity levels. When I found the problem, my alk level was down to 7. I have started taking steps to balance this out, and have the alk at 9 and calcium at 480. That's the problem with big changes. Youre always prone to mishaps like this while you trying to establish proper dosing regimens. Oh well, all is looking up, and none of the life in the system seemed to have been affected by the incident.
