Oh, you got a Bicolor Blenny? How is he? I have been thinking about getting one for my 10G. The LFS has one that is very cute and is always tempting me to get him.

blueblue48, Thanks, Im running a 48" 4x64w Coralife Lunar Aqualight
for a total of 260w or about 5w/gallon.

Cody, Yes, we've had "Beaker" the Bi-color Blenny for about a year now. He's quite comical, and has had no compatability issues with any of his tankmates. My only notable problem with him is that he occasionally ends up in the overflow, which is not an easy place to retrieve from.

Wendy, Thank you. That is one of my favorites as well. The shell to the left of him is occupied by a Zebra Reef Hermit, who was also in the original photo. I ended up electing to crop out the Zebra Reef Hermit as the lack of any solid background content was distracting to the composition of the photo.

OK, I have a few more photo's to post, but first, beweeb and I were
discussing this nasty little coral, the Protopalythoa, in chat last night.
This coral, as well as palythoas and some zoanthids, posesses a
potentially deadly toxin called Palytoxin. This toxin needs a point of entry,
the mouth, the eyes, a break in the skin (laceration) for example, to pose
a real threat to health. Surgical gloves are recommended whenever you
handle corals, and a thorough hand washing thereafter wouldnt hurt either.

And without further ado, The Protopalythoas:

I agree with Blueblue. The coral does look rather menacing, but neat at the same time. Great picture, as always! :D

My palys have not done alot since I got them last year. I believe this may be because they were relocated from the 30g tank in february. Int the 30 Gallon tank, they were constantly being moved around by an urchin, so they never really got a place to settle into. Since February of this year, there has been small, but noticable growth.

Here's another new Pic
