Sean your tank is simply amazing! I looked at your link to the SA Marine forum to see the construction process and spent about two hours reading and looking. Wow!!!! I've done concrete work and that was no small effort, fascinating though. And I can't get over what you have to go through to do water changes! OMG.

Your tank is truly an inspiration, though and I like the piece of artwork you had made above it too. It makes me want to come to SA just to see your tank! What a beautiful little slice of ocean you have there. 8)

Blueblue, Sean is locatedin South Africa and his tank size is somewhere in the 2,500 liter size category. I looked at the link to a long post he did on a South African Marine forum he belongs to that chronicled the whole building of the tank - a massive undertaking. It was an interesting read with lots of pictures. :D

Thanks for your comments guys. I raised the tank sides a bit as well as added a huge Refugium/Overflow as well as a Surge device... so the volume of water is roughly on 900 Gallons at this stage.... Yes, I am in South Africa, Richards Bay in the province of Kwa Zulu Natal. I have just uploaded pics on the South Afrivcan Forum, but being almost Midnight, I'll upload some latest pics on this site tomorrow... Thank you again for your nice comments.... As well as the fact that I can be part of a really impressive site :D
