I'm new here, but already anxious for an update! Marines fascinate me and I cant decide whether to go reef or FOWLR, but I'm sure I'll decide before I find a job(and get some stinkin money!).

Glad to have you here. I suggest you start a thread to discuss your plans and goals for your marine aquarium. We can help prevent some of the little mistakes that can be very costly in a saltwater system!

I am leaving here shortly to spend the day at my cabin on the lake, I will try my best to get some video posted on Saturday or Sunday.

A cabin by the lake, sounds nice, really nice. Who takes care of your tanks while you're gone?
(looking forward to the vids, as you know )

I decided to add more rock to my 180. I'm not happy with the left hand side of the tank. I ordered another 25 pound shipment of Key Largo dry rock from Marco Rocks. They had a special this weekend, $59 for 25 pounds, includes shipping. I figure I can always use some rock. LOL

I bought a Dragon Wrasse and a small Porcupine Puffer yesterday. They are in quarantine.

attempt at video

The fish were begging for food this entire time, so you don't get the actual feel of what its like watching the tank from across the room, but here is an effort. Also, when i started to get close to the tank, the fish got skiddish and started hiding. Anyhow, you have to click on the link. I can't figure out how to insert the video.

Notice the color on that Scopas Tang. I am more amazed every day. It may be the best looking fish in the tank.

You have such an amazing collection of fish. Every single one looks vibrant and healthy. If that was my tank I'd feel pretty proud of myself for a job well done. Thank you so much for sharing. I love it!
