What's the bottom picture of the pink one? It's so unusual looking. Kind of like upside down pink cow udders. (I can't be the only one who *saw* that!) Where in the ocean would you find it? Indigenious to where??

I leave for the islands tomorrow (WHOO HOO!) and am trying to hunt down an underwater camera. It would be so cool to have underwater shots of everything interesting I see. I wonder if that's something a dive shop would have as a rental? Probably not.

onefish2fish: Your tank is awesome!

I'm pretty sure I've seen waterproof disposable cameras for sale.

Yes, they do have those. I bought three of them in Maui last time I was there and I'd say only 10% of my shots were any good. I was thinking more along the lines of something that could do macros. I've seen plenty of guys shooting pics out in the break of surfers but of course you also have to have the waterproof housing that goes with.
So I'll just do the disposable version. They say there are 300 species of fish that don't live anywhere else other than the Hawaiian Islands. I'd love to get pictures of them. I'm pretty excited about this trip! I leave tomorrow....YAY!

the last one is a RBTA (rosey or red bubble tip anemone if your not down with the lingo)
i actually never wanted one, but a friend offered it to me and theyre about $100 so i really couldnt refuse the offer. its super cool to though except my clowns wont host it, they usually hang out around the green star polyps (gsp) which is totally fine because again i never planned for an anemone.

I hate you. But not really. Reefers for life.

Free? Free? FREE??? You should send me over some to be fair... (I'm going to ask you about this everytime I post in this thread now).

Great shots and the BTA is looking very happy. Clowns take a while to host a nem so dont be surprized if they host in 6months... yeah they can take that long but they look amazing playing in them. Oh and the Purple death zoas are awsome. i need some for both my 55g and my 25g... i think i like Cody's idea... jk jk. good work, and whatever you do don't go SPS... it's all down hill from there... trust me i'm there now.
