Yes, the clowns are adorable but it's hard to beat the goby-shrimp relationship. Great tank!

for the update i went to a frag swap over the weekend. i had to work friday night as i work night shifts and i got home and slept for 45 mins and showered and left at 8 to get to the swap at 9 (which didnt end until 6) which sucked because i was sleep deprived but you get used to it working night shifts.
i picked up 5? different frags of zoos..the snails, conch and cucumber i pre-ordered and i could have gotten way more frags as i had $600+ in my pocket lol. i just really wanted to check it out as ive never been to one before.. there were 500+ people and i won 2 things in the huge raffle they held ( they had a flat screen tv!!! and 110gal tank/stand/canopy w/ retrofit icecap lights and a 34gal AIO biocube among many many other things )
well i didnt win a tank or tv but i got a 2 part package of b-ionic and a digital timer.
i also picked up the remaining pieces for my DIY icecap retrofit t5 lighting. i already had the 660 ballast that i actually won from a previous reefing meeting with 1 raffle ticket :) what a steal! so i got the reflectors and bulbs and endcaps and yada yada.. so hopefully me and my father can get it all together and wired up tom. morning when i get home from work. im actually really excited to get the new lights up and going as my tank has been lacking good lights. pics to come when i can

ok first some of the critters ive had

new zoos

new lights

there is a 2 light fixture with reefsun bulbs bungee corded on the front, ill explain later

front light removed

timer

FTS

FTS

ok, the lights are 2 10k daylight and 2 ultra atinic blue with 4 individual reflectors and 660 ballast. the reason there is reefsun bungee'd to the front of the light fixture "ghetto rigged" is because when the lights kick on its all or nothing. you cannot just turn on 2 bulbs or 1 then the next 1 then the next one. so i turn the reef sun on 1 hour before the t5s come on, and then leave then on an hour after they shut off. for next tank i prob. am going to get another ballast to fit 2 more bulbs on it so i can have the 2 bulbs to do that instead of an additional fixture. make sense? i hope so lol
