You are a riot! I saw the first pic and said, "Wait? What?? A yellow tang?" then I scroll down and find out it's a picture from a box!!

I love the clip of the pulsing xenia. It looks like long feathery fingers doing a dance. Cool pics.

you wouldnt believe me, i paid $7.99 + tax ( and actually cheaper with my clubs membership card ) and got a yellow tang AND and hippo tang. amazing.

lol, thanks. xenia is actually pretty "common" in the hobby but i find the pulsing pretty cool myself.

This is going to sound noob, but i've never actually have used a skimmer that's in sump. What's the point of the hose that comes off the callection cup?

that bad boy is actually outside my sump and the hose coming off the collection cup simply drains the collection cup into a larger collector which is a fancy dancy milk carton. they make actual fancy collection cups that you can buy that are over priced that have a ball inside them so they shut off when full, but atleast for now the milk carton works wonders.
this things also got an ozone port, its a great skimmer IMO and i hear you can even upgrade the chambers to make them taller to support a larger system. cool beans.

yes because my collection cup doesnt come off on the skimmer, the top can be removed but not the cup itself. i like it because all i have to do is empty the milk carton.
