people pay for that stuff.

i wouldnt go as far as paying for it unless it was very reasonable but i sure wouldnt mind that growing on my rock as a hitch hiker

No joke. I did pay for it from my LFS. They have at least 4 tanks growing it. It grows really nice too. I just didn't need it anymore so i disposed of it. i currently don't have a refugium, but when i do get one. i'll use that, and cheatomorpha.

excuse the very poor picture quality but here is orange cap on the far left,astrea snail to the right of it, idaho grape below it,pink birdsnest and green cap on the right and some pallys off in the background

this is poor picture quality too but i need an ID, i knew the name but forgot it

That looks like a Stylophora sp. Looks like a nice frag too. Congrats on the buy!

Nice Birdsnest too! Got a monti-cap shot?

i asked the guy i purchased it from and he said its a Green Pocillipora and the orange cap isnt much larger then the picture shows, the idaho grape takes too long to grow, and the green cap is more of the encrusting kind then it is plating

got home at 7am from work this morning and my clam was dead. im unsure of the cause but i performed a water change and cleaned out the very little that was left in his shell. no more clams for awhile.

That stinks. What where you feeing the tank? What are the nitrate lvls? It's odd for it to just die.
