Awesome looking crittters! Do you feed them or are chalices on their own?

Does it freak you out to leave your tank for even just a day or two? I am just now really starting to spend money on some corals, and I am already getting a little paranoid when I don't see the tank for 24 hours because idk what is going on.

i had a tank crash with me home, well i was sleeping and woke up to a milky white tank with most things dead. not much you can do and if im out somewhere i try to enjoy myself. my father doesnt mind watching the tank if need be, hes not 100% reef ready but he knows what he has to.

Just out of curiousity...had you not been sleeping what could you have done to have stopped the chemical warfare that was happening in your tank?? Remove the offenders??

i have a strong feeling the hundreds if not thousands of green palys i have triggered it. if not something triggered them and they started to slime their toxin. its some potent stuff. if you dont believe me, a buddy left a colony of these out side for a week, they didnt die and when he picked up the rock they were on his arm was burnt with a rash. ontop of that, the green and brown ones grow like a weed.
anyways if i saw them sliming i would have tried to pull them out but disrupting them may cause them to get even more upset. at the very least i could have thrown on extra carbon reactors as i have buckets of carbon and a few extra reactors laying around. i have to admit at the time i didnt have water made, that would have been a big plus too.
