the shiny thing is a nitrate or bubble algae. no big deal IMO as my tank is algae free except a spot here and there.
this wrasse i believe dives into the sand at night so he was MIA at the time of the pictures. shortly after the lights came on hes out and about, more so then the christmas wrasse.

they really are pretty thoses wrasse.
are there any benifit to keeping them,or is it purley decorative ?
:)

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

thanks and yes, they will eat flatworms ( a pest ) and they just look beautiful. its a shame as some gorgeous wrasse are not reef safe.

Thumbs down

what are the chances of them both jumping? (except no bodies have been recovered, however there is a dog) or atleast both dying because they have disapeared. yes, there is a chance of them hiding in the rocks but i have a strong feeling they arnt in there. theres a quick way to spend some cash.

What a bummer. If the xmas came out maybe the vermiculte is still in there hiding somewhere. Hope so...
