I cant wait to see you add livestock to this tank, but Im sure you feel the same way.

So hows that cycle coming?

sand into my refuge and a few snails added. glass is dirty for the snails.. it will be cleaned later down the road as the tanks more mature.. lol

thinking about a SWC 120 for my skimmer. i wanted a SWC 160 but cant fit it in my skimmer section of my sump and i added sand already to the refuge side.
thinking LEDs for lights and possibly 2 t5s or just all t5s.

here came a package

and as soon as i had it empty, they had it into a play house

i must say i have not had this 24 hours yet and im impressed.

SWC 120

internal pump runs quiet

2 easy knobs for control

built an eggcrate box to raise it sitting 6'' below water line

and saw some awesome bubble production in less then 10 minutes of it running

coloring up slowly... the return pump plumbing is on the list to be re-done. i originally had it like that for the gatorade reactor, which ive decided not to use.

thanks, that sump was something i already had. theres a drain behind the skimmer you cant really see and i need to re-do my return plumbing badly. i should have taped off before siliconing but didnt either.. i really just used this sump because it was laying around and i'd rather put it to use. i actually had to re-silcon the single baffle before i got it up and running because it gave out from the last tank it was on, wasnt a hard fix.

i love my new skimmer.
