when you set up a new tank,hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor,that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

its been a few days with the skimmer and the cup has been cleaned once sometime between then and now. regardless it is a nice dark skim for only a few days.

Too precious on the cats... my cats use to cuddle up like that together too. Now it is my old cat that cuddles up against me at night

that suff looks a bit grotty is it a good thing ?
kitty cats looking warm and fuzzy

when you set up a new tank,hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor,that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

it took that out of my water, so yes, thats a good thing! ive also been running the tank fishless and skimmerless for sometime now, but feeding it here and there.. i bet that would be what most of this protien is from.
im very happy with this skimmer.
