Nick, I would get a saltwater, but...
I don't have a job, and I don't have money, my parents think I'm obsessed (which I am :)), I can't think of anywhere I could put it (except in my room), I don't have any friends with SW tanks, and none of the LFSs nearby carry SW supplies.
<sigh> I keep dreaming though...

The only stores nearby are PetSmart, Petco, and PetLand.

Petsmart - carries no SW fish, corals, or supplies.
Petco - carries very few SW fish. No corals. Few SW supplies if any.
PetLand - No SW fish or corals. I'm not sure if they have supplies.

There is a tiny SW fish store about 30 minutes from me, they carry fish and corals but no supplies. And their fish are a bit pricey.

The only other option for me would be to check stores in Phoenix, which is 2 or 3 hours away. In which case I'd have to figure out a way to get them all the way home safely.

Ugh - it's so frustrating, isn't it??
I could try buying them online, but I hate to pay 35 bucks for shipping

Nick are you feeding that feather duster anything?
They need marine snow(little bits of food that float arount in the tank that they filter out for food)
And please do give some specifics on your lighting?Watts per gallon?Type of lighting?brand? Is that a coral banded shrimp?

And by the way nice tank :D

I'd try a frozen food from H20 Life if you can find it. It's called coral cuisine. You'll need to feed VERY lightly to avoid green algae problems. Everything you'll need will be in that cube.

That damsel will prevent you from getting any other fish. Keep that in mind. They are vicious in a 100g tank and will repel any new additions. In a tank that small I'd pick 1 clown fish and 1 small goby like a Tiger goby, yellow spotted watchman, or a barnacle blenny. If you like that little fish just plan on keeping the tanks livestock as it is. And that is a coral band shrimp. They will also prevent you from adding any new shrimp to the tank. They are very mean and are known to eat fish and inverts. You may want to trade him out for a fire shrimp (very expensive though), peppermint shrimp (great at eating aptasia anemones AKA glass anemones), or a pair of pistol shrimps. the pistols will make tunnels all under your substrate. I wanted to say your live rock looked to be of excellent quality. Use it as a reference if you ever buy more.

That's odd, Nick. Because the livestock you have is what I used to have in the past. Except that I also have royal gramma, butterflyfish and other marine species.

What a strange coincidence. Even the feather duster looks the same as mine.

Good luck with the salties.
