Unfortunately no sump. But adding one is priority number #1 if and when I move the tank or upgrade for exactly that reason. Currently there isn't room.

Bergia Sighting!

I actually saw a Berghia last night for this first time since I introduced them on 10/19! Took a little video of it with my Droid Incredible.

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/OJLNErwf95g?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/OJLNErwf95g?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

A minute or so after the video the little guy actually seemed to give up and not eat the aptasia ... I'm thinking it was too large for him. The smaller one you can see off to the left in the video was gone this morning.

Edit - this embed coding works on other sites but not here not sure why ... heres a link to youtube

Updates Jan 17th

Well its been a while since I've posted but I thought I would share some recent pictures. Had some ups and downs in my tank in the last few months but things are going pretty well in general. For whatever reason most of the macro algae in my fuge died off a while back which I think helped contribute to an outbreak of cyano. Reduced feeding and some manual removal during water changes has helped but I'm still battling the stuff.

Also maybe a month ago I took all the powerheads out of the tank and gave them a vinegar bath. This has helped my flow a lot as they were really dirty. However I think I had them out of the tank for too long (maybe 2 hours) and the oxygen levels must have dropped because in the next two days I lost my midas blenny and my carpenter's wrasse.

On to the positive news, my auto top off system has made life so much easier. Topping off with Kalk has really made my corals happier and growth of my SPS and clam has taken off. Although I am still supplementing just as much 2 part - demand is just going up and up.

Recent additions: a Starry Blenny this guy is such a character and just yesterday I got a green with pink tip BTA. The BTA is still hiding from the light but I think he will come out and sun himself more soon.

I love your tank and the blenny. Also what is the name of that light blue SPS in the 3rd picture?

^^ + 1

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
