this would be perfect to bring to college!! ha now when my moms says what are you going to do with your fish when you go to college I'm going to say "cram them in my 3 gallon" perfect :-D
Sorry to burst your bubble here Dallops... but the tank is too small to have those. I wouldn't do anything bigger than one Clown Goby, and then they look huge in these tanks.
wow i cant believe i said 3 watt must have been thinking of watts per gallon and the wheeler will be fine the firefish is questionable which is why if it doesn't work out ill just stick him in my pod.
You will only be able to do easy softies, such as zoas, palys, shrooms, xenia, etc.
You would be able to keep LPS is you upgrade the lighting to like a 18W Satelite, and even easy SPS if you upgrade to a 36W PC with decent flow and supplements.
Or, you could even call up the company who makes the Picotope, and ask to get another clamp on light. I've seen it before; you just clamp them on the sides instead of the back.
Thats actually the bulb, not the whole fixture. I ordered one a while back thinking it was the fixture (was going to use it for a fuge I never setup), and I got the bulb. Still have it too.
i know I'm going frag a lot of coral from my aquapod and put it in there i can't wait but you guys expect to see coral and fish around the sixth of January.
