I do the same with my planted tanks.I think there's no progress until I look at older pics.
Personnaly,I think you should post new pics daily.I love my planted tanks, and will always keep them, but I like new challenges and variety and the more I look at yours the more I want to try SW.

In August? i'd hate to see feb! it was such a beautiful day here in florida! not a cloud in the sky, sun, surf, seafood! can't beat it! it's like heaven! came to my beach house and spent 3 days after dropping my eldest daughter to university. love it here. gotta go back home tomorrow. then off to work on monday but then in 2 weeks i'm off on a 7 day cruise in the caribbean and tropical islands!.

No problem, you definitely worked for it! How long have you been a fish hobbyist? It looks like you're super experienced!

well, i've never had a fw tank so i have no experience there. for SW/reef i've been doing it for 17 years. I got really serious about 3 years ago where i started to keep sps corals. it became an obsession to get here. The first 3 years it was pretty much FOWLR, then 10 years LPS/ softies, then the last 3 to 4 years full blown sps reef. now i'm considering redoing my tank but i'm trying to be patient with it. when i first started keeping softies and lps all those corals were brown. now they seem to have really nice colorful stuff and they are pretty easy to keep so that's why i'm considering plus i'm getting bored with this tank.
