That way i can spread the corals around so if i ever lose my tank for any reason, hopefully they will return the favor and i can restock my tank inexpensively. sometimes i buy corals, cut them and attach them to the rock then turn around and sell the original piece to recover my cost.
What a great idea! I still have at least a month to go before I'm going to start stocking any corals. (first thing I have to do is get a new light fixture!!) I joined my local reef clubwww.seasl.org they have a forum on reefcentral. I am hoping by the time they have their next frag trade I will be ready! The guy I bought my sump from told me about seasl... he also has some pink mushrooms he's going to give me.

yeah, i have alot of credit from my local store from giving and trading corals to them, they in turn sell frags and i get compensated with dry goods or live stock. my tank is self sustaining cost wise!

Wow! That certainly is a bonus to having such a lovely tank. I am in awe of your tank. It is more then I will ever have but I sure enjoy seeing yours.
