Kaunas aquarium

I wish it were mine... 8)



That's a huge tank in Kaunas, Lithuania. It has a widely represented marine fauna, even sharks.

Cleaning maybe not so frequent, but feeding takes place every day. They say scuba divers go down at 5pm every day to feed the beasts!

Those sharks are quite big. And I do not understand why the rest of the population stays alive. They have more than one medium sharks there.

I remember watching a documentary a while back and it said that sharks, unlike other fish, won't eat unless they're hungry, so it could just be that they keep the sharks well fed, so they have no need to eat the other inhabitats.
