Half Moon Bay

Im currently out in CA in San Carlos which is right by San Francisco. We stopped by Half Moon Bay and took a look at some tide pools. I would of loved to next day air some of the critters home but it was a reserve
Lots of hermits, nems, limpets, a few small fish, macro algaes ...

Those are great pics! It looks you're enjoying some nice weather.
I'm glad you were able to get away and have a vacation. Whose taking care of your reef while you're gone?

Great pics! I grew up in Redwood City and we used to go to Half Moon Bay all the time. Brings back some great memories.

150 Gallon - Mostly American Cichlids
135 Gallon - Angelfish Community
75 Gallon - Odd couple (Polleni/Angelfish)

fathers watching the reef and ark where are the pictures?
i was really hoping to find something really sweet like a pygmy octopus or something but no luck. it was for sure fun though and i may set up a jersey tank based on local species but thats just thoughts in my head at the minute. glad you guys enjoyed.
