Elegance coral. This is my baby. Extremely difficult to keep. Advanced marine keepers only!

This is a good full tank shot. Been dying to get one like this.

This is a macro shot of a yellow millie. Corals turn all sorts of strange colors under my intense light conditions, frequent feedings, and high currents. It is now green, blue, pink with yellow polyps.

And finally for all of you that love watching clowns host to anemones, this one is for you.

Please understand that they are hosting to a Magnificent anemone, or a member of the ritteri family. These are considered extremely fragile and are never recommended for home aquarium, not even public aquariums. Mine was a gift by an uninformed buyer and I am greatly pleased it lives on 2 months later. This specimen is very hardy, getting larger everyday. These 2 maroon clowns will host to any anemone I put in the tank. Previously, and sometimes still, they host to a blue saddle or carpet anemone. Another of the very difficult anemones. I am very pleased that my elegance and anemones do so well.

Looks sweet Mike. thats elegance is beautiful

You sound like my friend, he has a 3x3x2.5 cube and the fish are a side interest for him, its all about the corals as far as he is concerned.

I will take the plunge into salty one day, once i have got more exp. with fishkeeping in general and understand the science behind it a bit more.

thanks for the pics!

Fish? What fish? I don't want to spoil th ebeauty of my reef with a lot of fish. To many fish contribute to a high nutrient load. Bad for corals and algae problems. Currently housing 1 algae blenny, 1 4' long banded snakeor garden eel, 2 large maroon clowns. That's it for the fish. I moved a few of the others out. I lost my scooter blenny a few nights back. I had had it for a year and a half.

lookin pretty good mike Im glad you dident stuff your tank with sps frags cause i hate that look. Are you ever tempted to buy more fish for it? cause every time i go to the fish store i want it all. Your corals are nice but when i start mine im gunna go green! I love brain coral and any other coral that is a bright flourecent green.

I was writing out a huge rant about how my entire tank is dedicated to SPS and that I've said numerous times that I am a dedicated SPS nut. There are literally thousands of dollars worth of SPS corals in the tank. SPS 90% non SPS 10%. I decided not to post what I wrote.

Be careful what you say. That first sentence is very harsh and litteraly attacks my tank. If you are going to make such a bold statement make sure it's correct.
