Well, I have some bit of bad news...

My Shrimp is MIA. I haven't seen him in about a week, and my nitrates are higher than normal. I also see a of excess in algae growth everywhere... some cyano is forming ON my GSP.

I have been neglecting this a little bit the past weeks... I have finals this week too, so after this I will try to get everything back on track. School is just really hectic.

Others news...
Frogspawn: GREAT!
Kenya Trees (I now have about 5): Great
Zoas: Great
Red Mushrooms: OK
Blue/Maroon/Green Shroom: Great
Plate: Iffy
Xenia: Bad news. It pretty much melted away. I guess either the flow or the light was too much.
Ric: Good
Pagoda: Good
GSP: Bad
Clown: Great
YWG: Better than ever. He chills right in front of me now instead of swimming half way into his cave now. Still hates the camera and when the hood open.

I must say, it is lucky I am getting my 40G soon.

Well, one more day of finals, and it is my two easiest classes. My grades are so strong in these, I don't need t study.

Which means...

Water change! Performed one earlier today. Plan to do another tomorrow or Friday, and then Saturday or Sunday. Will test nitrates on Sunday.

After the change, I have already noticed a change in my Flower and Shrooms. They look much bigger now.

And the best thing of today in my reef:

The ric will be splitting soon! I noticed it has two mouths, already.

I've heard that if your tank isn't nutrien rich, they don't do very well. I'm having the same issues, and it's because the it's not "dirty" water anymore.
