Yea, after I took the pics I noticed it. Back in order now.

And yes, Clown gets in the way of everything. YWG and Peppermint, not so much.

Yet another change in the ideas of tanks... It will probably chage twenty more times anyways.

New plan:
29G AGA Standard
6 x 24W T5's + 8 LED Moonlights
Koralia 1 Powerhead with my Surface Skimmer (About 560gph)
20-40lbs of Live Sand (This is only for looks. I would do bare bottom, but I dont like the look of it. I hate sand, lol).
LR
Corals

Fish list:
2 Clowns
1 YWG
1 Yellow Headed Jawfish
1 Purple Firefish

I may take one or two things out and switch it with a Coral Beauty Angel.

Thoughts?

Sounds good accept for the Coral Beauty. They aren't really reef safe for the most part, you ca give it a shot though each fish has its own personality.

Thats what I'm worried about as well. I orignally was going to throw a Cherub Pgymy Angelfish in the mix, but I heard they are 50/50, along with the Flame's. I *want* to keep a clam, so that threw those two out, and I heard the Coral Beauty is actually the safest. But, as you said, all are different. Plus, I may not have enough light for the clam anyway.

I love clams and i've been wanting one but the funds are short for now (just finished paying for a wedding), and i'm still working out kinks in the system as well as looking for what i'm going to make the sump out of.

They are beautiful fish, but there are other options, what about a mandarin... 9mo down the road?

Oh, and for flame angels they are normally caught with cyanide, so if you do buy one, get it at the lfs and ask them to hold it. Cyanide can not show up until 3mo later and that's a long time for a fish to finally die off, and they are expensive. when you purchase it, look to see if it's nipping at everything like the glass, LR, sand ect. that shows signs of healthy brain function as well as an appitite. if it's there just swimming looking all pretty, or if it's dazed or spaced out not moving, don't get it.

also ask the store if they can feed the fish to make sure it even has an appitite.

Thank you.

My lighting is in debate between two different things. I *want* to keep this thing around $420, so I have really been thinking. Right now, I am looking at the 30" Sunpod (most expensive), and then two T5 48W (96W total, all daylight) with a 32W T5 (all actinic). 132 Watts total. And yes, it is three lights but two different fixtures.

Anyways, for fish, I need to go to my LFS and see what they have. All of these are what I have been looking at.

-2 Clownfish (no matter what, that is in)
-1 Purple Firefish (80% sure I want that).
-1 YWG (Got it)
Looking at the following:
-Scooter Blenny (wont add untill 6-9 months and making sure they eat prepared food)
-Coral Beauty
-Red Head Solan Fairy Wrasse
-Six line Wrasse

Most are just ideas. I *really* need to go to the LFS this weekend (and I'm taking down my 30G Freshwater this weekend most likely, so I need bags+styrofoam boxes for the fish I'm giving away).

Scooter Blennies are awsome. i love most dragonets and they are by far the most curious looking ones... if you don't mind the color(which i don't)

Six line would be fine, but i be aware that the fairy wrasse requires at least 50g yes you can do smaller, but just a heads up.

Again the Coral beauty isn't too reef safe unless you can train it, and i think a clam would be fine and happy in there!

BTW, clown are a must! 8)
