ahh thanks for the info -- I want to do as much research on this as so not to kill them.
right now I have not fed the tank -- it's been up for 3 days and I'm just waiting -- i have no idea what to do next, except just top off water -- there's already foam in the skimmer, though not much and I've emptied all the bio balls and also the prefilter pad.
I've only done a temperature measurement and salinity test
80 deg F
1.023 - 1.024 gravity
I haven't found the right master reef test -- but I bought an API test just in case.
I can't wait until i'm able to add fish. tomorrow i'm going to be adding another 7 lbs of live rock to complete the tank, hopefully in 2 pieces.
