Kells, don't put a Clown in that. It is way too small IMO, and they are just too active of fish (and reach 3.5"). Chromis are a bad choice too.

I would go a Clown Goby, Neon Goby, or Greenbanded goby. The last two are my personal favorites of nano gobies.

Anyways, your tank is looking great. Keep it up!

I'm not a goby fan. Clowns don't move more then 4-5in from there home and i'm sure i can keep an anemone in there, then i'd never seen it, but we'll see.

I wouldn't do any anemone, either. I know the whole 4"-5" thing (my clown never goes more than that from my Frogspawn). They just get too big for a 2.5G. Same with Anemones and most "hostable" LPS (they would get too large before a Clown would take interest in it).

So, if not any gobies... I have seen some Yellow-tailed Damsels in 3G's and the like. Can't seem to think of anything else for this size, though.

Don't really like damsels either. Choices are really slim, but if i can find a tank raised clown and not from the ocean, it' be a lot easier on the little guy, and i didn't mean it'll be it's permanent residence.

Oh, I didn't realize it would be a temporary setup. My bad.

3 sexies would be really cool.

And I am with you on the damsel thing... I hate them.
