I will add as I continue to make progress. I am making a step-by-step reef guide for a 125g tank. Here is my tank so far. (Its empty in the picture, but I filled it up so I will take a picture of it with the water in it.)

Looks impressive! Will it hold all the water? Would love to see it filled!

Doesn't salt destroy the stuff which holds the thing together?

Sorry, I'm so ignorant

Will you put some corrals or rocks in?

Sorry, what is 'sump'?

I do envy those people who can set up a marine aquarium! I would not be so brave! At least I can admire other people's work...

Have you actually made that tank yourself? I have heard that a marine tank should be organic glass. Also there cannot be live plants.

A sump is a wet/dry filter, they are also known as a trickle filter.
