I have added one shorhand transparent shrimp in my Display Tank. He is doing good but hiding all the times on the back of powerhead as damsel is trying to have a fight with him. The Shrimp comes out only at night. Hope it is a cleaner shrimp. Will add 2 more of them tomorrow. Order given to supplier. |
Alkalinity and Calcium are in a good range. Where is your pH?
The idea of an internet forum is to ask questions BEFORE adding these things to your tank. You always seem to take action, then ask us about it. It is going to get difficult for people to take you seriously if you don't ask questions before taking action.
I would worry more about correcting your pH problem than adding inhabitants to your tank. If your pH is reallly off as you test it to be, then that shrimp will not last long. They are incredibly pH sensitive creatures.
