Thanks Kymmie! I promise new pics ASAP... things got a little crazy this weekend, my son had to be put in childrens hospital for a couple days. He's 100% now though!!

Hubby is installing the RO system THIS weekend, and we are going to be re-doing the plumbing for the return pump where it is hard plumbed and comes out in 2 spots. I just (5 mins ago lol) ordered another new Hydor Evo 750 on ebay for $35 including shipping!

Pics of the giant Coral Banded Shrimp....

also I'm not sure if I had another Diatom bloom from the new lights and rock or if I'm having a severe brown algae outbreak.... any ideas??? (all the bubbles on the back wall and rocks, all the brown muck) More pics in the next post also.

so after reading a couple other threads about some algae I realized I needed to get my butt in gear and get that taken care of... I had zero snails left in there, went to the store this eve and got 3 big turbos and a pencil urchin. I put the 3 turbos on the back glass and they are already starting to make short work of that gunk!

Nice tank! It took me a couple looks at the first pic of the mag float to see the blenny!

That tank is nice!! Love the little shrimp, and jw what the red fish is cant quite think of the name..Looks like a bird nose wrasse but not the same colour.

Update: we took the rocks that had the brown algae and rinsed them off real fast to get the muck off. The new Turbos are making short work of the muck on the back wall. Hubs did a lot yesterday, he got the RO system installed and plumbed, and our return pump from the sump is now HARD plumbed. It made a huge difference, there is so much more circulation now! That will help everything including the skimmer and macro algae to work better I think!
