actually for free. the guys a great guy, ive known him for awhile now. hes the one that gave me the $120 anemone. crazy stuff.

i did actually give him $100 for the MTC protein skimmer. This is a rockin deal as these retail for $400-450 + price of pump (which pump was included among many many other quality pumps)
I also gave him a nice gift card to olive garden and when his new tank gets set up ill prob. be given him a decent amount of frags to help fill it in. Thats up in the air as he only collects rare things, so i guess we will see.

i love bangaiis too.

someone i know had i think 6 smaller bangaiis in their display. they were disappearing. he most likely had a fish in the tank eating them but who knows. i dont have any fish that should bother them so i should be alright.

usually people keep 2, i chose 4. ive read in the wild they generally stay in groups of 2-60 and seek shelter in urchins. mine arnt this small but i came across this picture while showing my sister a picture of my new fish,

Cute and very smart. Nothing is getting past a sea urchin's spines other than an otter and no one keeps those in home aquaria that I know of . It'll be great if you get a pair that breed since their numbers have so dwindled in the wild.

as for the tank progress things are slow. very very slow. honestly i would have been done already, awhile ago but my dad insists that we need to put in a support beam in which i feel is completely not needed. he also says i do nothing around the house so he is going to do nothing for me in return (so much for that beam)

Hummm..sounds like it's suck up time. You're going to have to take the higher road and approach him in a completely sincere way and say, "You know Dad, you're right. I've been slacking around the house and I didn't mean for that to happen. What can I do for you that would help you out?"
Then whatever he says, just do it. What choice willl he have but to turn around and help you??
When I was growing up this approach never failed to work for me.
I really want to see this tank up & running so do whatever it takes to get your dad in gear.
