well i am unsure of the video you watched, but i would imagine they are all similiar.
not all kinds of shrimp are such excavators, but i do however find all types very very interesting. like skunk cleaner shrimps for example.. generally most fish and even morey eels wont eat them (its been said eels let them even clean the inside of their mouths!!) but the shrimp set up a station in your tank where fish pretty much pull up and get cleaned by the shrimp climbing on them and picking at them, ive even heard of people having their fish line up for the service but have personally never experienced that, i guess its kind of like a car wash
anyways, the randalli pistol shrimp and shrimpgoby pair is simple, the shrimp keeps the borough clean and the watchman/shrimp goby ( there is many different species ) keeps an "eye" and protects the shrimp.. ive seen my goby lunge at my clowns to shoo them away. reason the shrimp pairs with such fish is because of their poor eye sight..people have had male/female pistol shrimp + goby share the same hole as well as male/female goby + pistol share the same hole.. i just have 1 shrimp and 1 fish in mine but i cant complain i really find it facinating and can watch my little bulldozer shrimp
go forever lol
