Nick's 10 Gallon Saltwater

Hey everyone,

I bet this has surprised a few people! But I've been recently getting ready to set up my first 10 gallon saltwater aquarium. At the moment I have added the sand, mixed the water and salt, and added a pump ( 125 p/hour ) for circulation. The pump was from a friend that has a nice reef system and a little snail tagged along on it so my only occupant right now is a little bitty snail. Here's a picture of everything so far. Tomorrow I am putting in a few plants and a piece of live rock. The sand is still settling but here is a picture. And YES it is at the end of my bed! Haha. ----Edited do to poster removel----

Nick! I didn't know you're planning on nano reefs. And what plants are you putting in the tank? Javan ferns? I hope so. If not, get Caulerpas.

I told you that you would be shocked! Well Blue...It's my first nano reef tank and I am ONLY 15 so Its hard to just go out and blow all my money on fish stuff! My buddy has a really big, i think 125 gallon, reef tank which is AMAZING and he has a little 10 gallon nano to just hold plants so he's planning on giving me some of those and a cool piece of branchy live rock. I'm not sure about the plant I will have to ask him. But its a working progress!

What do you meen when you say plants? I never heard of someone using marine plants as a decoration?
