I'm going with two regular false perculas and see if they are better -- one is in my tank currently has a holding cell until my friend is able to setup their other tank. I'm also waiting on my flame angel -- 2 more weeks to go.
Got a bunch of inverts now in the tank -- loving it! =D | Thank you. The black clown was a last minute decision. He was holding to orange false percs and had a pair of black ones in the store for three weeks. I switched off and bought one of each and so far it is working out well.
I don't know if the statement about the clowns getting along together is correct. Both are false perc clowns so I don't see any reason why you couldn't get a black one of the same species to go with your orange one. You may have an issue introducing any clown to a tank with an existing clown though.
Obviously I am a salt water noob so I would wait for Pasfur, Wake, etc. to chime in.
