Except for the pulsating xenia! I gave away about 25 stalks of it and sold another 10 stalks in the last week. I know it'll be back too hehe.

IMO stuff like xenia, clove polyp even kenya tree (which i have and hasnt dropped any branches yet) are all good to fill in empty areas of the tank. i find it good to have some fast growing things to watch while the slow growing more rare things take their time establishing.

I just added a Kenya tree a couple days ago so I'm hoping that takes off. I'd like to keep the xenia and kenya on the outskirts of the reef. I'm going to move that big mass of xenia to the side to make room for more frags.

The local scene here is going good I've discovered a group that meets every month to trade/sell frags. Very cheap too with a lot of free frags of the more common corals. I just bought a better digital camera so I'm looking forward to taking some new pictures this weekend. Now that my tank has been running over 6 months I'm adding quite a few SPS frags this weekend. Tricolors, green slimer, brown/white stag, sunset mille, ORA Scripps pink mille. I gave away all the xenia in my tank except for some on the out skirts. I'm going to try and just have it grow in the back of the tank for a nice background. Also adding some different mushrooms, anthelia, and a neon green galaxea frag.

my xenia is actually growing up my right wall, shame im upgrading soon as it looks cool but ill just have to scrape it off

Good first trip to our local reef club FRAG. Came home with 11 corals and am going into SPS now. Well see how they do, can't wait for them to color up more under my halides as most of them came out of a PC tank.

Added a new fish a couple days ago. A red spotted sand perch. Really cool fish, looks like a lizard with it's independent eye movement. Not timid at all will scoot on the sand right up to the glass and look at you
