My 100Gal progressive reef pics

notice under this coral is white. i had gone on a business trip and my ca reactorwent off line causing my ca/alk/mg to go haywire. I'm currently nursing this coral back to health. it's now coming back with polyps even under the white side!



my famous pink birds nest. I don't think i could kill this coral. it's so hardy or at least used to my aquarium. i'v fragged this thing so many times and given away tennis ball size of this thing to my friends.

Watching your progress was awesome! You are making me seriously miss my saltwater! But finances won't allow that so we're back on track to freshwater. It's beautiful, job well done and I'd like to see pics every now and again :)

I have been to a lot of aquariums (I go to them on almost every vacation) and this is one of the best reef tanks I have ever seen. Great job!

The new nem is beautiful! What is that blue thing? it sort of looks like a clam, but I only see one part with no split like a clam, LOL

thanks! those nemo's are at least 5 years old! that blue thing you are reffering is indeed a clam. It's about 2 years old.

Gorgeous tank, and you take really good pictures too! How does one care for a clam? I thought they were hard to keep alive and you've had yours for two years??!!

Actually when I said "nem" I was referring to the new pink anemone hehe! But that is awesome your Nemos are 5 yrs old!!! Are they Ocellaris or Percula? They look like Oc but have the thick black bars like Perc.

That clam is awesome!!!! Is it a Maxima, Crocea, or?? I would love one but I don't think my lighting is suitable.

They are real easy to care for. just lights! they are filter feeders so you don't have to feed them. just give them light. i actually have 3 in the tank.
