My crappy skimmer died... so I got an AquaC Remora (hang on back). It's still breaking in so it'll be a while, but here's what my parameters are now:

320 Ca
Ph -.01ppm
Sg - 1.026
dkh - 7
NO3 - 12ppm

It is. The common name is Catspaw though, at least thats what they guy that gave it to me said. I'm happy with it... although it's supposed to be purple! i need more actinics...

I don't feed the tank as often as i want to now-a-days. I've cut back because of this algae and my horrid skimmer. My new skimmer is amazing and has been pulling more out of the tank in just the few days i have had it then the old one that i had for almost a year...

I've never understood why they call it a Rose Sherman. It should be called "UDMCU". That's short for *Upside Down Multiple Cow Udders*. I know, but I can't help it, that's always what it reminds me of.

LOL, thanks. I loved it there. We got back just yesterday. It was great and all, but there's nothing like coming back home. We were on a 7 day cruise and we went 2 days early. You can check out my youtube for more videos. Pics from Hawai'i will be coming soon, but to another thread, this is long enough with just my fish eh, and A few more videos. Oh, and i won't post all of my pics to Hawai'i there so you'll just have to check my FB too!
