Day 7

Diatoms are showing their ugly faces finally. Also, here are some new pics.

And Params:
Ammonia: ~6ppm (went down)
Nitrites: More than 5ppm

At least my cycle is comnig along. And I have decided I am going to get that Black Clown at my LFS.

One black and one orange. Already have the one orange, and LFs has a small (1") Black Clown for a decent price. Still a bit brown too.

nice thats what i have, one black and one orange misbar. im pretty sure they are going to turn out to be a pair too. hopefully.

Thanks guys.

I only plan on doing one pair, along with my YWG and hopefully a Kole Tang. I know that that is *very* debatable, but I have seen it before with success and I have been doing plenty of research.

It doesn't get too big so it should be fine. I think it's one of the smaller tangs right? 7" so i don't think you'd have a problem with it. Now if you got a powderblue then you'd be in trouble cause they get to like 14"... but i don't see any issue with this guy.

Koles tend to stay around 5-7". The really nice one at my LFS is probably 4".

Tested ammonia and nitrites again today, and some good news.

Ammonia: 0!!!
Nitrites: Less than .25ppm but not quite 0.

That means I'm getting some snails soon...
