Not a problem, He actually had a horrific thing happen to that tank and it no longer exists...
He cleaned the skimmer pump after 1 year. Normally he stays and checks everything, but he got called into work that day for 14hrs. Naturally, the skimmer went into overdrive and skimmed a lot of water out (200g) and his skimmer has a emptying mechanism that pours into a drain. It poured 200g out of the tank and when he got home, he decided that he needed to replenish the water lost quickly. So he didn't want to wait until the RO made 200g in over the next few days he quickly made water with the tap (the lfs was closed already) added declorinator, and put it into the tank.
Everything looked fine before he went to bed, but when he woke up the tank was white for the most part. Corals where bleaching, stuff was dying. He lost almost 90% of the whole tanks livestock. really sad. He said he was pulling acropora out of the tank that where a foot wide that he'd had for almost 8years(i think).
He lost the tank in Dec 2007 i believe and started a cold water system. If you go to the site, he has a link at the top that says "see steves coldwater system
Here" to check it out. It's an amazing tank as well and he doesn't have that tank anymore either, but he does have plans on a tank that's around 2,000g and i am excited to see what he does with it... he wants the depth and feels he needs the tank to be deeper then 8feet...
