You can keep the coral decorations in the tank, just don't attach them into your reef structure.

There isn't even water in it yet...So I got a great deal on the skimmer. I'm trading the Canister filter I got from my last purchase(HOT magnum for 55 gallon) and trading it for the protein skimmer on Monday hopefully. They are about the same price new with the skimmer being alittle more expensive. Also how long can I have saltwater sitting without anything in it or lights on it?With lights?

Water circulation is the key. Just don't let it sit stagnant. And don't run the lights yet. No reason to.

So I have another question...The peppermint/skunk shrimp, how big do they get? Also for livestock Fire Goby, Watchman goby, yellow head jawfish, 2 Ocellaris Clownfish, Speckled sandperch, and since you said the angels are aggresive I can save for last I will wait awhile to make a choice for 1-2 when I get to the point if I can add more fish...

Also is there any sharks or anything that would fit in the tank? Those are cool.(unlikely) Also what kind of anemone should i get?

The Peppermint Shrimp stay small, generally under 2''.

The topic of an anemone is at least another year away. They are extremely difficult to sustain in captivity and you want to get to the point where you are answering complicated questions, rather than asking, before you even consider an anemone.

I agree with pasfur. They are not the easiest to keep alive. What lights are you using?

I don't have any yet because the bulbs I had didn't work. Any suggestions?

Got the Skimmer yay!!!

Also there was what looked like star fish(small) on the bottom of the skimmer should I clean or worry about that?

Here are the light fixtures they don't fit but 1 will do until I get a more complicated system and still any bulb suggestions?
