| | 3 foot desktop tank.
Instead of updating the old nano thread, I thought it was more appropriate to start a new one.
While being classified as a nano in terms of volume, it's actually 3 foot. I always find that funny, tanks can seem a LOT bigger than their volume indicates, especially when cleverly stocked.
The current stocking is an ocellaris clown and a PJ cardinal. Turnover is somewhere over 20x.
Lighting is temporarily a mixture of daylight power compacts and actinic t8's. I shall be purchasing a T5 luminaire very shortly (probably tomorrow..) .
The skimming is taken care of by a HOB recirculating skimmer that I DIY'd sometime last week (great results!), which you can see on the left of the tank. |
