Too much light.

I ask lots of questions about lighting.

I decided to wait on a light and I found a local guy who will sell me a fixture with 8 t5ho. I have to wait a week buy its worth it, if he gets the one he is buying. I want to know if it will be too much for my 29. If it is can I just hang them higher?

Ohh by the way the bulbs in the fixture is half actinic and half daylight. I already took a look at it and it has an aluminum finish, IDK about reflectors 'cause i could not see them under all the light haha.

You might have to acclimate new corals to the high of lighting, but your safe using it.

I just got the fixture and for 60 it is the best deal ever. It has a w reflector all the way, not individuals. But it has way more than plenty of light. I was scared for my fish because they where under really low light and now in super bright but it does not seen to effect them. What are some easy to keep anemones ect. that does not need super perfect water? Still working on a sump/refug.

Anemones all pretty much need great water quality and strong lighting. Bubble Tips are one of the easier Nems to keep.
