I guess I really had the wrong idea when I thought chromis were the peaceful alternative to damsels. I seem to recall reading many times that that was the case. For instance, Drs. Foster Smith goes on about chromis as if they were the most peaceful fish in the ocean.

Thanks, Jeff. The quarantine tank's HOB filter came with a mesh bag/pad, but I removed it since it contained carbon and had read that the carbon would render the PraziPro I added to the tank as a preventative measure ineffective.

I've heard something similar (or the same), that most fish actually have ich all the time but it doesn't manifest/become an issue until their immune systems are compromised. Do you think it's possible to rid a system of ich altogether?

I don't plan on adding any fish to the display tank for 4 - 6 weeks. I may add a few more inverts in the meantime to keep things somewhat interesting, though. Thanks for the idea about cardinals. I'll keep an eye out for them when the time comes to add fish to the tank again.
