Fix or not?

While going through our storage i came across a very large fishtank which was primarily used for FW fish. Recently however i have been very interested in starting a SW aquarium. I was wondering, will it be cheaper to repair , clean and setup this tank or should i just go buy one straight from my LFS? This fishtank is 125 gallons, but has been put away for about 4 years. fixing my 10 gallon tank only cost 15 pounds. (it was the same condition but much easier to clean :D )

depends on the type of repairs.... to protect your long term investments, you should buy a new one. otherwise you may have very bad problems in the future (ie small leak-> fixed.....then suddenly it breaks due to wear) well put more information about your tank but i probably invest ina new one if i were you ...if u hve money for a marine tank, you have money for the tank....maybe the seams are already broken...you know...i wouldnt risk it

I agree, it depends on what you mean by needing to be "fixed".
