Feeding dried plankton on a tank

i was just wondering, just bought dried planktons to feed 9 fish on my 75 gallon tank. question is, do i have to turn off my filter system during the feeding process ? i was worried that the fish might not eat enough of the planktons because the filter will just suck them all
