Wire in water safety question

Hey guys, happy new year! Tomorrow i am buying a koloria powerhead. But i am afraid what will happen if the wire is in water. Is the wire water safe, i dont want a fire.

you are fine as long as the wire jacket is not nicked down to the copper i own about 5 of the brands power heads some about 3 yrs old now with no issue. its design is for going in the water.
