what lighting to get

Hi guys
I am going to convert my 110g tall 48x18x31 tank to a full reef tank.
i would like to know what lighting i should use to reach the bottom of the tank.
thanks any help would be good

What kind of corals are you looking for? (SPS, LPS etc) Some require more light than others.

Hallides are sooo expensivee.. and the heatingg bill at the end of the year is ridiculous!

t5s would prob. be more then enough for just softies but keep in mind that would prob. be your limit unless keeping SPS high up in the tank or lower light LPS.

i was at my LFS and i saw a 48" with two MH and LED's instead of t5's. any info on LED's, the guy said that the LED's last a long time and it has a deeper penetration than the t5's. i do not remember the name of the light. input on this
