| | Water top-off
I'm going out of town for a few days - a week or so and need to set up an automatic top-off / top-up system for my 55 gal reef tank. I don't have a sump so all switches will have to go into the tank itself. I was planning on placing a 5gal bucket in the stand as the water source.
Can someone assist in what would be the best system / setup to ensure a reliable top-up of freshwater so that my salinity doesn't get too high and water get too low. At the moment I top up every day or two with about 2cups-3cups of fresh water.
