VHO VS Power compact

I been reading on this forum and others untill I am crosseyed. What I am looking for now is Pros and Cons of VHO and Power Compacts, some of what I have read tells me VHO is a little better even spread, and some say PC will last longer. So how about it folks any feed back.
I have a 75 gal with live rock and will be adding soft corals soon.

The best I can tell you is this. The hobby has grown away from VHO towards power compacts over the last 5 years. The majority of people who have used VHO, and then tried power compacts, have choosen to stay with power compacts.

A big advantage is the ready-made power compact units that are easy to find on the market today. They are extremely affordable and mount easily to your aquarium. The Coralife brand seems to be readily available and dependable, based on the conversations i have had with hobbyists.
